Story so far

Dennis Briggs was born in New York to wealthy parents called Harold and Elizabeth Briggs. His father spent most of his time working while his mother spent most of her time home-schooling young Dennis.
When a car accident claims his mother's life, Dennis is quickly brought under his father's wing. Promised that he will learn and one day take over the family business. A business that Dennis quickly realised wasn't working entirely within the law.
His father ran an organisation that spanned the entire New York area. 'The Family' isn't something you can find out about from any ordinary person. It's so entombed within the city's infrastructure that the two are essentially one whole.
It's an extensive criminal organisation that worked in the shadows of the concrete jungle. All politicians, the majority of the cops, stores, businesses, everything in the city belonged to The Family. Which in turn meant it belonged to Dennis' father. And it was time that Dennis started pulling his own weight.
The home-schooling was pushed to one side and the training began.
It was at this point that Dennis discovered that he wasn't like everyone else. His skill with ranged weaponry had nothing to do with training, in fact he barely needed any training at all.
Dennis was a metahuman with the ability of absolute accuracy.
When he presented this discovery to his father, Dennis was met with the first and only sign of pride from Harold. Which was swiftly followed up with him turning his son into a weapon.
The next few years saw Dennis taking out any and all opposition to his father. In his mind, each kill meant gaining appreciation from his father. This, of course, wasn't true.
It wasn't until Dennis' seventh year of service, and having to assassinate his fiancé, that he finally woke up to what was happening.
He felt like he was trapped. Stuck in a cage of his father's making. He knew he had to get out.
Then he saw him. The inspiration for what was to come next. He saw the Green Arrow on the news. There was someone using their skill to improve their city.
Dennis knew he could never reach the same level as the Arrow, that he wouldn't ever reach that level of heroics, but he knew he could make a difference.
In the following years, Dennis started deconstructing his father's hold on New York. Taking out The Family's strongholds. None of it was for the betterment of the city, not at first. All he wanted to do was make a statement, that he wasn't going to stay in his cage anymore.
Another two months of this and his father had finally had enough. Trove to his son that none of the attacks mattered, Harold sent a police raid to Dennis' safehouse. Publicly executed any and all accomplices to his son's mission and killed his son's dog.
Dennis had no choice but to flee the city.
Now, hiding out in Gotham, Dennis picks off any splinter of The Family that dares leave New York. Spending his downtime on training with his compound bow and his knives.
One day, Dennis will carve his way back into New York and take down his father.
